Last month, I was browsing on the amazon website, trying to find some books. I did find some books and I saw some Topps baseball cards available. There were several choices and I decided to buy a blaster box of 2021 Topps Heritage.
I bought a few packs of 2021 Topps Heritage in May and I did get some good rookie cards. Normally, in a hobby box, there is a guaranteed hit and most of the time, it’s a relic card. So, it’s quite tough to find an autograph card in this set. Thus, I usually look for rookie cards and for me, some good rookie cards often satisfy my expectation. In the past, I never bought any blaster box products and I was thinking that it could be a first try. So, I ordered it and waited for a few days before opening it. In a blaster box, there are 8 packs in a box, 9 cards per pack. However, if there is a special insert, a pack might contain only 5-8 cards. So, let’s see what I got.

Rookie Cards (2): Luis Garcia, Brady Singer

Flashbacks (1): The Price Is Right Airs on CBS

Autographs/Memorabilia (1): Josh Hader (Clubhouse Collection Relic)

Well, I was looking for some rookie cards and the result is that I got only 2 rookie cards in this blaster box. For me, that’s quite weird because I was thinking that there are supposed to be 4 to 6 rookie cards. However, I got a chrome card of Cubs catcher Willson Contreras and a game-used memorabilia card of Brewers pitcher Josh Hader. Well, I really didn’t expect to get a relic card in the blaster box, so I’m actually very surprised while seeing a relic card in the pack. Overall, I’m extremely glad to open this blaster box. I didn’t find many rookie cards, but there are a chrome card and a relic card in the box. I checked the approximate odds per pack of finding, this is what is shown on the blaster box,
Chrome 1:92
Clubhouse Collection Relic 1:69
Previously, I only found some chrome refractor cards in the Topps Heritage. I didn’t find any relic cards in the past. It’s actually the first time that I opened a pack of Topps Heritage with a relic card inside. Therefore, there’s nothing to complain about. I don’t know if I will buy a blaster box again, but it might be worth trying.
