​​Crush it at Dodger stadium?

A few weeks ago, I watched a highlight on YouTube. In the highlight, a batter, who’s playing for the away team, crushed a home run at Dodger stadium. And the highlight showed that the batter has crushed a lot of home runs at this ballpark.

A couple of weeks ago, I watched a game on TV. A player was ready to pinch hit, on the screen, it clearly showed that his hard-hit rate changes. Back in 2023, his hard-hit rate was below 35%. This season, his hard-hit rate is over 40%.

Fair or unfair?

A couple of weeks ago, I watched a baseball game on TV. In a game, some of a pitcher’s pitches, which were out of the strike zone, were called strikes. After watching the game and seeing several called strikes that were out of the zone, I began to think about some questions.

Throwing hard before All-Star break

In late June, I listened to a podcast show. In the show, an analyst indicated that a pitcher’s fastball is amazing. That pitcher’s fastballs frequently touch triple digits and opponents couldn’t hit well against his fastballs. After listening to the podcast show, I began to think about a question.

In late June, I was browsing an online sports card shop. I saw some lucky bags available. And a lucky bag product looked quite interesting. In that product, there are 4 hobby packs of the 2024 Topps Series 2. I was thinking if I should buy some lucky bags.

Third wild card

A couple of weeks ago, I listened to a podcast show. In the show, the host asked a guest several questions. One question was truly interesting. They discussed the third wild card spot and indicated that the third wild card spot is wide open now and several teams could make it into the postseason by clinching the third wild card spot.

Not a flamethrower anymore?

A few weeks ago, I watched a baseball game on TV and Walker Buehler was pitching for the Dodgers. From 2018 to 2021, he was one of the most dominant pitchers in the majors. And the Dodgers heavily relied on him and he didn’t let the team down. In particular, he was fantastic in the 2020 postseason. Nonetheless, he underwent 2nd Tommy John surgery in 2022.

Good first half?

Very soon, the first half of the 2024 season will come to an end. In the first half of this season, several rookies have done a tremendous job and lots of fans are so excited to watch their great performances. And let’s take a quick look at their performances.

2024 Series 2

The 2024 Topps Series 2 arrived in mid-June. I always buy some hobby packs or jumbo packs of the Topps Series 2. A few weeks ago, I went to a sports card shop that I haven’t been to for a while and saw hobby packs of the series 2 available. I decided to get some hobby packs.

Great RP?

I turned on the TV and watched a game. It was in the top of the 9th inning. A relief pitcher was on the mound. On the screen, it clearly showed that opponents’ batting average against him was very low. And the play-by-play announcer said that the reliever has done a great job this season. It’s so interesting to see that stat on TV and after watching the game, I began to think about a question.

A few weeks ago, I listened to a podcast show. In the show, the host interviewed a general manager. The host asked the general manager about a starter in the rotation. The general manager indicated that they really like that pitcher and they are satisfied with his performance so far this season.

Great June?

The first half of the 2024 season will come to an end soon. Before coming to the All-Star break, several players had done a good job in June. And let’s see how outstanding they were last month.

Bottleneck in the bottom?

Listening to a podcast show is one of my favorite things to do. In particular, it will be great if the show is about baseball. This year, I frequently listen to a podcast show. In the show, an analyst mentioned a team’s problem.

Just a few days ago, I bought some lucky bags on an online sports card shop. In a lucky bag, an autograph card is guaranteed. For me, that product looks quite interesting. Hence, I decided to buy some.
