Fried stays in the East


The New Yankees and Juan Soto didn’t reach a deal this offseason. Juan Soto is a Met. Nonetheless, the Yankees certainly won’t stay there and do nothing in the offseason. They lost an elite left-handed batter. But very soon after Soto joined the Mets, the Yankees signed a left-handed pitcher.

Throws a lot?


In early December, Blake Treinen and the Dodgers agreed to a 2-year deal. Treinen is an important pitcher for the Dodgers. In 2024, he made 50 relief appearances, posting a 1.93 ERA and a 0.94 WHIP over 46.2 innings. Opponents only hit .194 against him.

A few weeks ago, my friend and I went to a sports recreation venue. In the venue, there’s a batting cage. Additionally, an interesting thing is there’s a HitTrax AR facility. My friend and I decided to have a try.

Soto is back to the NL East


The biggest news this offseason is probably the decision of Juan Soto. There were so many speculations where he would go. In the end, he decided to join the Mets. Soto and the Mets agreed to an amazing 15-year deal, which is a record breaking one.

Adames going west


Buster Posey became the president of baseball operations of the San Francisco Giants in October. The Giants haven’t clinched a postseason berth for 3 consecutive seasons. Well, the last time that the Giants played October baseball was in 2021. Back then, Posey was still a player. Hence, the Giants haven’t played in the postseason since Posey retired.

Last month, I watched an interview on YouTube. A relief pitcher talked about his experience in the 2024 postseason. His performance was very impressive and lots of fans surely will remember what he did last postseason.
