2024 Topps Archives arrived in 2025

Last November, a question just popped into my head. When will the 2024 Topps Archives release?

I decided to search on google and reddit to see if there’s information. At the beginning, there weren’t many clues. Nonetheless, it turned out that this product would be released in January 2025.

Last month, when this product was released, I asked a staffer in a sporting goods shop to see if there are still some 2024 Topps Archives products available. Well, the hobby boxes went out very quickly and there were only value boxes.

I like Topps Archives and each year, I buy this product. So, I chose to buy a value box of the 2024 Topps Archives.

In total, there are 56 baseball cards in a value box. And let’s see what I got.

Base cards: Jordan Walker, Michael Busch, Max Scherzer, Edouard Julien, Ken Griffey Jr., Mike Piazza, Mitch Keller, Otto Lopez, Jose Altuve, Jose Berrios, J.T. Realmuto, Greg Maddux, Manny Machado, Kris Bryant, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Mike Mussina, Jo Adell, Ronald Acuna Jr., Kyle Bradish, Ivan Rodriguez, Steven Kwan, Brandon Lowe, Matt McLain, JP Sears, Brayan Bello, J.P. Crawford, Justin Verlander, Jeimer Candelario, Gabriel Moreno, Mike Trout, MJ Melendez, David Wright, Gleyber Torres, Rhys Hoskins, Ernie Banks, Jose Ramirez, CJ Abrams, Shohei Ohtani

Rookie cards (11): Jasson Dominguez, Henry Davis, Kyle Manzardo, Christian Encarnacion-Strand, Jack Leiter, Pete Crow-Armstrong, Endy Rodriguez, Paul Skenes, Ceddanne Rafaela, Andy Pages, Ben Brown

Black Foilboard (4): Pete Alonso, Michael Young, Randy Arozarena, Max Schuemann (RC)

2006 Own the game: Matt Chapman

1995 At the break: Brent Rooker

1996 Wrecking Crew: Ryan Jeffers

Again, there aren’t any hits in the value box. However, it’s not a surprise. The black parallels are exclusive in the value box product. I found 4 black parallels this time. Well, that’s ok.

And for the rookie cards, I found a Jasson Dominguez rookie card, a Paul Skenes rookie card and an Andy Pages rookie card. These 3 cards look good for me. In particular, I really like Paul Skenes rookie card.

However, I found a Ryan Jeffers 1996 Wrecking Crew card and I couldn’t find the odds of this card. But I guess it’s not so rare. Meanwhile, there are 2 other inserts and it’s not so difficult to find these 2 inserts.

It’s the first value box I bought in 2025. The result of opening a value box of this product isn’t so great. Nonetheless, I still enjoy ripping a value box of Topps Archives since I like this product. And I will still look for some hobby packs of this brand.
